HDPE (High-Density Poly Ethylene) is a Type 2 plastic, known as one of the most versatile plastic materials in today’s market. HDPE has outstanding strength, large strength-to-density, along with high impact and melting point. Once reaching its melting point this plastic material can be quickly and efficiently molded for use across a variety of unique applications.
PP (Polypropylene) is a type 5 plastic, best known as one of the safest, complex plastic. Polypropylene is the second-most widely produced commodity plastic. The FDA approves PP to be used to create food containers. The melting process of PP can be achieved via extrusion and molding. The most common shaping technique is injection molding.
